Language Update

This morning Elisabeth sat at the table watching me iron, a deeply thoughtful expression on her face. If you know Elisabeth, you know that girl is a deep thinker. I knew she was cooking up something profound. Presently, she jumped up, with wide, excited eyes, and informed me in a high pitched voice that she had figured out how to say something in Spanish! (So that was what she was doing! I was pleased.) "What can you say?" She stood tall, and said clearly, "Hay muchos moscos en mi casa!"

I was a little let down at this. I mean, if you are going to spend all morning in thought, you should come up with, "There is much love in my house." Or "There is much joy in my house.", but NO-There are many flies in my house!

Well, it's true, I guess...

It's my Hero's birthday today! I love you, Sweetheart!

I'm so thankful God gave you to me to take this journey together. Walking through this life with you, watching God work His wonders, trusting His hand to guide us, what a life!

My girls are so sweet! They took the cloths off the clothesline for me, while I was busy with a project, because they saw a storm coming in.

Very Long Drive, Part IV; The Last Leg

Good morning!

Now we are starting to get excited!

Ryan went straight out to get some luxury items:
the stove and fridge. I'm very very thankful for these!

And we hooked my old friend, the washing machine up. I'm praying she stays healthy!

Thank you for coming with me! I'm so thankful for all God has done in bringing us to this wonderful place to serve Him, and I can't wait to see what He wants to do here!
