Terri Hawki

"Hey Hunny, come see this chicken picture!"
"Just put it on your blog and I'll see it on the website!"
So there you have it; the reason a chicken is on my blog.
This girl is a spoiled pet of my mom's.

Lasha wants to sleep

Please make the lady with the flashy thing go away.

News

We are still in limbo about when we go to Mexico. God has directed our steps to work with someone starting a church in Hidalgo, Mexico, not far from Mexico City. Its a great place to get started there, as we will be involved in a brand new church plant, and we are beyond excited about this development! We can study Mexico City also, and find a good place to start in the City as well. Location will be very important when we do go into the City itself.

Without going into long detail, we are waiting on some things, and will head out as soon as we can. It won't be longer than the end of this month.

I'm in a state of great anticipation! Pleased at seeing the Lord's hand in our lives, and gearing up to do a lot of work also.

Please keep praying for us!

Ticonderoga Tea

My daughter brought me a glass of water. It had a funny taste. I swished it around a little, then suddenly realized the taste could only be described as...penciley. I found this. Ticonderoga is great for writing, but it makes terrible tea.

This is my chief suspect. Don't let the innocent face fool you.

More picture fun! (Please humor me...)

I ran outside on a scattered showers kind of day right after the sun came out, these are two of the results.

Here I'm experimenting with the concept of "framing". Ryan says I got a bunch of stuff in front of the picture. Too much "frame" I guess!

The green leaf is my all time favorite. That's straight out of the camera, no retouching!

Happy Birthday to Me!

I celebrate the first time I was born in October, but twenty-six years ago today, I recieved the best gift anyone has ever gotten! I realized that my sin would take me to Hell, and had no hope of getting rid of it. Jesus had mercy on me, and paid for my sin to be taken away when He died on the cross. He made me understand that He would take away my sin if I called on His name. I did, and I've been free ever since. What a wonderful Saviour! Today I'm celebrating a new birth. Have you received the gift of God?

The Critters, Post B

The Critters! Post A

Some of my dear little ones have more tolerance for camera work than others, or maybe they have less ham in their spirit. In any case, I tried to get two good pictures of each child, and I was mostly successful. Two of them Hammed it up for many many more pictures-I'll let you guess which ones they were.
