What fun! My oldest daughter celebrated her first birthday in Mexico. The pinata was made of clay and broke into a million pieces. Seemed dangerous!

JM, I would like to see a clay pinata! I've seen quite a few different kinds though! The first truly authentic Mexican pinata I saw in Mexico was a zip lock bag with candy tied to a string. Someone gave the orphans some candy and this was how they had fun with it-so I think "fun" is what makes it authentic, however you make it!

Happy birthday to the Birthday Girl and she looks beautiful in her glasses.

Her Dad did a great job on the pinata, even with all the help.lol

Hope you all have a great birthday, day. connie

Ryan keep surprising me with his latent talent. Now if he can just dredge up enough to get that printer working. I am not sure a little girl with a bat will be able to bust this horsey though. I may loan her a shotgun.
