Veteran's Day

My Dad tells everyone that when he was drafted, he didn't like people telling him what to do, so he joined the Marine Corps.  We all think this is very funny, and we know it's not true.  Like other veterans, He volunteered when his country had a need, to go out there and defend liberty.  The warrior spirit is joined with the virtue of love for right and liberty in the American veteran.  Today, I'm going to sit with my kids and tell them to thank God for this spirit and for this love, and pray for our soldiers today, that God will encourage them, protect them, show them His power, and give them victory in the good work that they have in their hands.  It's a good work, and we love them for it!
