Crime Scene Photo
This is all that is left of a nearly full stick of butter. Forensic evidence cleared the two older girls of any wrongdoing, and the prime suspect has been arrested on unrelated charges involving the sugar bowl. We should be able to keep her off the street for a long time, so she will not be a danger to the public.
Ask my mom...it seems that such things repeat themselves from one generation to the next. My family had a butter thief too, but he/she did not leave such obvious signs of her/his identity. I think we caught this one soon enough.

LOL!
Hi! Sarah!
Glad you're back online.
Thanks for the tips, I'll be keepin' an eye on the butter :)
Oh how funny! I don't know if I were in the same situation if I wouldn't do the same thing that the culprit did. :0) Looks good!
Thought I would post the answer to our question here.
The US doesn't allow dual citizenship as far as what we've learned. You may have a residence visa but only be a citizen of one country. So that's what we have, the permenant right to live here in Croatia.
Here after 5 years they allow you to apply for the residence visa but it can take up to 2 years to receive it if your approved. So we're going on 7 years and we were elligible 2 years ago so you can see we have the burocracy here too. :0)
How long have you been there??
We've been here learning the language (And tons of other things) for about eight months. We aren't far from the border, so we can get the paperwork we need from the US farely easily. The US has an "agreement" with Mexico when it comes to joint citizenship. It's harder to get going into Mexico, but Ryan has a little head start with his family being from there. Some people work on this for years, and we expect a lot of more time to be spent on it. The main problem is getting someone willing to talk to us, and willing to tell the truth about what we need. Every time we bring in what they say we need, they say we need something else. There are no hard and fast rules-you have to get a little lucky, I think!
Tori, you like butter that much???
