For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. (Psalms 33:21)

New Missionary Blog
I was delighted to find a comment from someone I know in the last post. Please go check out her blog. http://jungle-hut.blogspot.com/ It was a blessing to me, and it will help you to know how to pray for missionaries in dangerous places. We attended a mission's conference with this wonderful family and I remember them well! God bless you Rita!

My first meme:
I don't know much about blogging, and I'm learning as I go, but I wanted to do this when I saw it at Susan's blog. One of these days I'm going to figure out how to put a link into the text like everyone else does all the time, but that is going to be another day! This is her link: http://www.bygrace3.blogspot.com/
Anyway, the meme is about one of my all time favorite subjects, my sweetie!
His age: 29-He's six months older than me
How tall is he: 5' 7 1/2" (I'm 5' 8")
How long have you been together (married): Six years and getting better every day!
How long did you know each other before you got together? Two and a half years.
What physical features attracted you to him first?: Wonderful gentle blue eyes with a michievous glint and great big unhesitating smile.
Eye color: Blue, Very nice!
Hair color: Dark brown
Hair style: Short, combed straight back. I cut it. (Yes, he is a brave man.)
Normal Outfit: Around the house, shorts and a polo shirt. He wears kakkis or slacks and a button down shirt when he goes out for work
How did you meet: We met at West Coast Baptist College. We were both freshman, and, well-that's a long story for another post. I promise I'll get to it!
How serious is it: Doesn't get more serious than this!
Are you “in love”: Oh my yes, absolutly!
Do your parents like him: Yes
Do his parents like you: Yes
Do you trust him: Implicitly
Would you share a toothbrush with him?: Hee hee, I've been reading this meme on several other blogs, and I am definitly in the minority here! Yes, I used his toothbrush (Well rinsed) a couple times when mine was indesposed. (Like when my daughter had used it to scrub the soap bar and I found out after trying to brush my teeth with it. Blech! Now that's gross!)_
Would he let you wear his pants?: Haven't asked
Do you have a shirt of his that you sleep in?: No
Do you like the way he smells?: Yes. I do. When I'm not pregnant.
Can you picture having kids with him?: Been there, done that, four times.
What bothers you the most about him?: I have a hard time answering this one. Someone once told me that the thing that bugs you the most about the one you love is probably going to be the negative aspect of his strogest personality trait, and if you think about it, that will be what you love about him too. This is absolutly true with my husband. I always think when I'm bugged, what it would be like if I lost that personality trait, and I'm not bugged any more. So that leaves me with....thinking....hmmmm. Oh! I know--he has very long thick toenails.
Does he have a temper?: I have seen him really angry a couple times. He gets very quiet. He's the most patient man I've ever known.
Are you happy to be with him?: OOOOOOOHHHHH YEAH!
Does he embarrass you in public?: No. Now in those first years in Bible college, when he would bound into the cafeteria for breakfast with that giant smile and LOUDLY greet everyone. "Good morning everyone! What a beautiful morning! This is the day that the Lord hath made! etc." This to all those seniors nursing their coffee trying not to drool on the table from weariness-yeah ok I was embarressed then, but now I think it's cute.
Does he smoke or do drugs?: No
Does he have any piercings?: He got his ear peirced before he got saved. That was one of the first things to go, and no one had to tell him!
Any tattoos?: No
Does he have any scars that you know of?: He almost severed his toe a while back and there is a scar, but you have to be really looking to see it.
Is he a Party dude or Stay at home?: "Party dude"? No, but he does like to get out with friends and play games like basketball, do karate, etc. I'm much more of a homebody.
Is he Outgoing or Shy?: He is pretty outgoing. There is not a shy bone in his body, but he isn't the "life of the party".
Does he love his mama?: Yes! So do I!
Would he hang out with you and YOUR friends?: Most of my friends are married to his friends-so yes, we all hang out well together.
Sing?:I love to listen to him sing, he has a wonderful voice. He doesn't realize how good it is.

A piece of my thoughts:
OK, I know that I'm just putting up cute stuff about my kids ad nausium. If you came here to have a deep theological evaluation of life and faith in today's forum, I am sure this is a disappointment. That being said, this blog is about my life and thoughts and I have four children under five years old.
BLABBABLABBABLAABBA! (I try to curb those kinds of thoughts as much as I can, but they do pop out every now and then.)
And now, another series of pictures.
This is a portrait and the subject. I am sure you can see the striking resemblance. The two year old artist is not available for business, however, as her parents do not believe that a life of fame is really that good for her, and the siblings would get jealous. So the world will just have to wait.

Alright, you can stop nagging me!
I switched to the new Blogger. Had a little fun with my template, too. I don't know if I'll keep it like this, though.
And now to bed. I played way too long. Blessings!
