You wouldn't believe all we had to go through before a day's journey produced this picture. I am rather amazed and thankful that everyone is smiling, (Except David) and no one has stains you can see in the photo.
This will be on our next missionary prayer card.

What a great picture! I love it!
I love that picture!! What a miracle to get a picture where everyone (except the baby..which is to be expected) is smiling and looks good. This is a great picture for your prayer cards indeed!!
Thank you! I am going to have to blog about that day. I am amazed that we got it all done and no lasting ill effects. The picture lady really was impressive in how she got the kids to smile. (David also smiled, but of course stopped the moment the button was pushed.)
That is such a great picture!!!
I was wondering where you are a missionary at we are in Venezuela. I am just curious.
Jungle Mom!!!! I went to your website and started reading the story about the deoderent stone. MMMMM. I'm thinking to myself. I've heard this story before. Seems to me that missionary to Venesuala at the Missions Conference in Lancaster told that story. Then I scrolled down and saw the picture! HI! We are going to Mexico City and learning Spanish at a mission church not far from the border now. So wonderful to see you are doing well and you kids as well. I'm going to go back and read some more.
Sarah, The picture of your family is just beautiful, I am so happy for you. This is my first visit to your blog and I have enjoyed being here. God bless you and your family. Connie from Texas
HI Sarah!!
I have been reading your blog and remember your post at WATW about the photo day!! What a hoot. I would love one of your missionary prayer cards when they come out to put on the fidge and remember you in our prayers daily...do they travel the Australia!!??!!
Blessings
Amytori
How precious! The smiles are perfect! I could tell right off that those were little Mexican dresses! I was going to ask you where you all were going as missionaries; then I saw you response to jungle mom (my sis) up there. You see, I went to Mexico with Rita and Clint Vernoy when they had to attend Language School all those years ago. I met my hubby there in Queretaro and we had our typical latin wedding there in his church where his uncle pastored! We are planning a trip to Mexico for the end of June. We travel down there about every 2 years or so to see his family. When do you think you all will be there?
What a lovely picture! I know how hard it can be to get everyone at least look in the right direction..then get them all to smile... It's a rare talent photographers have.
Silly me, there's teh answer to my question. Lancaster...no wonder I don't remember you....we haven't met! I guess you only met my brother (some of us are more normal! but not by much. Hee hee)
