*****yawn*****

Well, it was a great Sunday, and I really enjoyed being able to go to church, since the galloping yucks have been galloping among the Case children (and the Case parents too) for several weeks. I was unable to go to church for much longer than I am comfortable with. I love church! Why do people try to avoid it?

Anyway, that said, I'm pretty beat. I'll do another post about our mushy story this week soon, but this chick needs to go look at her eyelids for a while.

I leave you with this (Fine art by my five year old):

I'm so sorry to hear that y'all have had the yucks. Pray you all are feeling better really soon.

You had a query I needed to answer
One that’s not asked by a few

Why people avoid visiting church
And often nod off in the pew

I know there are folks at the church who don’t like me
And sometimes that hurts my poor feelings

And also there’s some that do business in town
With others who have shady dealings

And church is supposed to cheer up my heart
But often I find myself weeping

To think of the ones who got to stay home
And continue their nice Sunday sleeping

About fishing, to think of the scaled ones who hide
On Monday through Saturday’s struggles

But Sunday they roam through water so nice
Looking for worm, lures, and buggles

So we miss the nice fish because were stuck here in church
And have to do things we don’t want to

But others can go and hook all they want
I know they make fun of what we do

I have to go now and get ready for church
Cause my wife is the children’s church teacher

And I’ll have to go and take her on time
Cause I am the church’s sole preacher

Dad-(cue altar call music) See, being a pastor is so great, you get to go fishing (for men) every Sunday!
